Dr. Libby Orsburn is a licensed Medical Doctor, Functional Medicine Physician and Medical Acupuncturist in Franklin, TN who has been treating patients for over two decades. She enjoys using her holistic approach to help patients overcome chronic illness and improve their overall health. Being a doctor is a huge part of who she is however what many may not know is she spent 20 years suffering with an autoimmune disease which eventually led to an incapacitating illness. It is that journey that has led to her using a unique fusion of Western, Eastern, and Functional Medicine to treat patients.
Two years before the above photograph was taken, she experienced an incapacitating illness. When many months of traditional medical therapies failed to produce a diagnosis or provide relief, Dr. Orsburn discovered functional medicine and ultimately identified the root cause of her illness and a cure.
Approximately two years later, she summited Mt. Chiquita (13,075 ft.) and Mt. Ypsilon (13,500 ft.) on the same day. The photograph above, taken on Mt. Ypsilon, represents victory on many levels.

"I've been doctoring for more than 20 years; it's a HUGE part of who I am. When I'm not in the office I love to spend my time with my supportive husband, our kitties, gardening, creating healthy dishes and recipes to share with you, and hiking."
