Chipotle Lime Dipping Sauce

This sauce is more than delicious! It's packed with immune-boosting antioxidants and is quite the versatile condiment. I've used this on my roasted beet salad, as a dipping sauce for rutabaga fries and sweet potato fritters, and as a topping for tacos. How will you enjoy it?

Ingredients:

  • 2 limes, juiced, about 1/4 cup of juice

  • 1 chipotle chili in adobo sauce

  • 1 tsp additional adobo sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled, crushed, and rested on your cutting board for 5 minutes

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp coriander

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

  • 1 tbsp raw local honey

  • 1 tbsp organic flax seed, freshly ground

  • 2 tbsp high polyphenol organic EVOO [this is one I love]

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients in your food processor and blend until smooth.

  2. Refrigerate in a lidded glass container.
